Guangzhou to Kowloon train.

Guangzhou to Kowloon train.

This is the start of a week long staycation for me. I’m trying not to plan too much stuff as I need a mental break, so I’m going to mostly go through some old photos and post them on dear old, aged and creaky, Flickr.

This pic is from the window of the Guangzhou to Kowloon train that I catch 4-5 times a year. I’m ALWAYS jetlagged when I’m on this train as my trips to Asia never last more than a few days, and it’s generally just meetings, dinner, drinks, and broken sleep. However, this train ride always affords me a chance to snap away and capture moments of Chinese life, like this couple walking in the afternoon by the tracks.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT
As it’s been a few days since the announcement, I also wanted to say how HAPPY I am about the Smug Mug announcement. What a boon to Flickr and those of us who have stayed true to the old thang.
